Our organization is moving forward with LiquidFiles implementation. With our purchase process it will take six to eight weeks to complete the purchase. After we get our product license, we will build the server. What we are trying to do is determine if we should go ahead with a version 3.7 build or hold off until version 4 is released. Is there a target date for the version 4 release?
When you are going to launch a production LF server, from scratch, definitely start with LF v4. The v4.0 (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) will be released as stable early next (Jan 2024). https://docs.liquidfiles.com/release_notes/version_4-0-x.html The LF appliances up to v3.7.x are running on Centos7 which will be end of life during Jun 2024. After that date there will not be any system updates from Redhat/Centos team.
Migration on AWS from t2 to t3 instance worked like a charm, failed on first try because TOTP for the admin wasn't working afterwards. Disabling TOTP before migrating did the trick for me.
