Most probably the NIC and its MAC address has changes when you restored.
Open the LF console, press "<F2> setup" and run "reset_network_binding".

    Cheers

I've see things like this happen with other software that restores a VM (although, not specifically with Veeam). I think one of the reasons is whether or not the VM is using a paravirtualized network adapter (these are like VMware's VMXNET2/3 and Microsoft's Network Adapter). I've seen a few instances where paravirtual adapters disappear after moving or restoring a VM. But I haven't see the legacy adapters disappear the same way (the legacy adapters are like VMware's E1000 and Microsoft's Legacy Network Adapter).

Just to clarify, though, is the actual network adapter missing from the VM or did Veeam just disconnect the restored VM from the network (sometimes in backup software, this is the default setting to allow you the chance to reconfigure it if necessary before it gets requests from the network).
