Id like to see an option to not delete attachments when the message expires but to stay as along as the message history is available. My users would like to be able to look in the history and access the exact document that they sent.

We'd like to see this feature as well. This would mean that management could always go back and check what document exactly was sent at the time if any dispute arises.

We'd like the option to only disable the file link after the expiry date instead of deleting the file itself from the system. Perhaps even have another global variable that helps delete all expired files after 5 or 7 years.

We would like this option as well. On occasion after a few years passes, we need to verify what was sent or resend something.

I also support this request. If an investigation is ever required about exactly what was sent, this would be vital. This is especially true since the system only logs file names/checksums and not the source path.
