Basically here is my issue: Normally our clients have multiple people that must submit documents to us. The problem is they can only send it to local users. This causes them to have to send a separate e-mail to the rest of the team saying that it was submitted.

What would be nice is if the system would allow remote user "A" to send files to local user "B", but also CC another remote user on the same domain as remote user "A". (Basically if a remote user is authenticated, then allow them to send to local users, but CC remote users on there same domain.)

    Thanks!

The reason why this isn't likely to be included is to avoid messages like this:

    From: abuser@gmail.com
    To: somerandomnonexistentuser@company.com
    CC: abusers_buddy@gmail.com
    ...

The external users group is designed as the default group for external users. If you want to create more of a collaboration with a group of external users, you would have to create a special group for them, allowing them to send messages to more recipients.
