We have found that every now and then, we will need to extend the amount of time files are available, after the initial period set on the upload has expired. Ive had a look through the GUI and cant find anything that will allow this, was wondering if there may be a little command line hack (or even something that im missing) that could help with this. If not, this might be a really useful addition to the next version. Reason being, we have a few sites, but the Filetransfer server is situated in London, so if say our office in Austin, Texas, has spent a couple of days uploading 5 or more gigabytes, but the client hasnt had the chance to download them within the allotted time, they will be deleted, so instead of starting the uploads again, would be really helpful to find a way to increase the time available.

One of the key decisions with LiquidFiles is that the system is doing what we tell it to. If we send a message to a user that they can download a file until two weeks from now, they will be able to download it until two weeks from now. If we say that a file is supposed to be deleted, it will be deleted to keep the audit trail. What will happen in future releases is the ability to create a new message, with new recipients and so on, and that can obviously also have an extended validity period.
