It appears that only the first instance of downloading a file is actually logged and generates a download receipt. Would be very beneficial if a download receipt was generated every time a file was downloaded, especially when there are multiple message recipients. Also, can a column be added to the sent messages list on the user and admin screens that shows when a file or series of files were downloaded. Maybe even a daily download summary could be added.
Johan Allard February 04, 2013 03:06 Version v2.2.x has been changed to log every download of a message (not just the first one). The download receipt is still only sent once per file per recipient. The download receipt behaviour has not changed. It has always sent a download receipt for every time another user has downloaded the file. Obviously, if you send files without authentication we don't know who downloaded the file so a download receipt will only be sent for the first download. This default behaviour won't change, but it may be that future releases add an option to send daily status emails. Scott A.
