Hi, it would be great if there was a lotus notes plugin so users could send a large file from within notes or at least be redirected to the file transfer applicance if they try to attach a file over a certain size

We'll have to see in the next year or so if Lotus makes a comeback and lots of people start to install it again. At the moment there's just not enough demand for it.

Unfortunately, we use Lotus Notes as well. This would be nice to see implemented!

Many of our customers uses Lotus Notes and after recommending your product, this was deal killer. Lotus Notes is STRONG in Germany, automotive and banking sector being a lead. Not having this, you are cutting yourself from great deal of wealthy market.

We are using Lotus Notes as well and missing this Feature for our 4000 users as well ...

This would be really nice to be implemented with next Releases!

Plugins has nothing to do with LiquidFiles releases other than that they would have to use the API, and the API will typically change slightly with major releases. But there's nothing that for instance the Outlook plugin does that is not documented in the API: http://support.liquidfiles.net/forums/21423392-API so if anyone wanted to build their own plugin all the information for the LiquidFiles side is already available.

It's been a couple of years since the initial feature request and from our perspective nothing has really changed. Lotus Notes seems strong in markets that is really outside of LiquidFiles target market. It's easy to see just looking at the pricing (http://www.liquidfiles.net/pricing.html) that an unlimited LiquidFiles license is 201 users and above so the target market is really companies in the about 50-500 user bracket. So a bank in Germany or a 4000 user company would still only one unlimited LiquidFiles license each, same as a 201 user company. The question then really becomes - how many Lotus Notes installations are there in the 50-500 user company bracket and is that market growing? In terms of additional client support, the next plugin will definitely be for Mac's, and after that we'll likely look at mobile apps so at the moment I'd say that it'll likely be at least another year until it would be worthwhile to revisit an official Lotus Notes plugin for LiquidFiles.
