We're actually after the opposite of what is being requested here: https://forum.liquidfiles.com/threads/keep-attachment-visible-with-message-history-after-expiry.242/ Our use-case is to have LF be a very transitory space -- we want both files and private messages to be purged from the system at the defined 'expiry' date. We don't want files or messages hanging around any longer than the set expiration date/click-count -- we find folks tend to do a poor job of file cleanup because it's simply easier to leave files and messages around either out of laziness or "just in case" they need it later. We see "Delete records of expired messages setting after:" -- but it only allows settings greater than 30 days. How about removing the sub-30 restriction?
Private messages, Secure messages with attached files are deleted when expired during the nightly maintenance. What's kept in the system for at least 30 days are logs that Messages had been sent, downloaded and so on.
