Wed like to be able to restrict access to the message logs. As the appliance is sometimes used to send sensitive files wed like to be able to restrict who can view the message logs, perhaps just to the super user. Weve found that you can download files from the logs which is a potential security hole our auditors are not too impressed with. Ive pointed out that the download from this location is logged but I was wondering if there is a way to restrict access? cheers, Robert Proud
Johan Allard February 29, 2012 02:37 The message log for users (not Admin -> Message Log) only shows messages to and from that specific user. Downloadable files include only the files you have access to. In 1.7.x onwards, remote users can't download files they have sent themselves. At the moment, there are no plans to make it more restrictive than that.
