    Hi,
I'm Alex, I'm working for an Austrian company and I'm new to this forum.
We are currently implementing automated file transfers from our SAP system to third parties.

There is one issue for which I haven't found a solution so far:
When I download a file and the filename contains space characters, German umlauts or French accented vowels the download screen itself show the filename correctly but Windows wants to store the file with encoded characters instead of the special characters in the filename.

    Example:
Original file name: "Construction drawing Vers.2a"
    Filename after download: "Construction%20drawing%20Vers.2a"
The "%20" is the typical encoding for a space charater.
I'll supply more examples as screenshots in a separate post.

This is very tedious, especially if the filename contains several special characters. The name of the downloaded file is cluttered and almost unreadable.

Has anybody experienced the same issue?
Is this effect caused by LiquidFiles or by my Windows installation?

Thanks for your help and suggestions,
    Alex

Here are some examples of how this looks like in (almost) reality:

LiquidFiles download window (German characters in filename):

    German umlaut_Download.png

    Windows saves the file as:

    German umlaut_Filename.png

LiquidFiles download window (French accented characters in filename):

    French accents_Download.png

    Windows saves the file as:

    French accents_Filename.png

Ok, the French example is a bit exaggerated but it clearly shows the problem! ;-)

    Greetings,
    Alex
